Every preset is an instrument of its own. Rather than being a fixed sound, each Syntropy preset is built on its own unique synthesis algorithm and can be quickly shaped through intuitive performance controls or deeply customized by adjusting its synthesis parameters and underlying algorithm to suit your music and personal style.
A remarkably broad sonic range. Syntropy harnesses the flexibility of mathematical sound generation to create everything from acoustic instrument emulations to lush electronic pads and leads, dance and rave grooves, cinematic effects, and evolving atmospheric soundscapes.
High-quality offline rendering. An adjustable oversampling rate allows Syntropy to produce exceptionally smooth, detailed results with a convincing analog-like character.
The new factory library includes more than 280 carefully selected new presets, covering acoustic-inspired instruments, expressive leads, lush pads, basses, dance and rave grooves, vocal textures, cinematic effects, evolving atmospheres, and experimental sounds.
The original Syntropy 1.4 library of more than 500 presets is also included, giving access to sounds from previous versions and ensuring full compatibility with presets created in Syntropy 1.4.
Generates audio using mathematical formulas instead of traditional oscillators, unlocking unique timbres and near-infinite sound design possibilities, with 64-bit double-precision processing throughout the sound engine. Alongside standard mathematical functions, Syntropy also uses a wide range of its own custom functions for sound synthesis to extend sound creation possibilities.
High internal resolution and clean DSP design deliver pristine, aliasing-free sound, even in dense and highly animated patches. With built-in oversampling up to x128 and FIR processing, Syntropy can produce richly analog-like audio while preserving a very clean, polished output.
Supports MPE, poly pressure, pitch per note, and microtuning so sound design can move naturally into expressive performance, and includes a sound bank prepared for immediate playing with ROLI Seaboard. Choose the parameter you want to control, name it, and route synthesizer parameters to a MIDI controller or to the MPE expression parameter of your choice. Add, configure, and automate internal effects across five available FX slots, including Reverb, Chorus, Convolution Reverb, and analog valve-style Soft Clip.
Syntropy 2.1 is available now for Windows and macOS as VST3, standalone, and CLAP workflows, with AU support now available for macOS and Logic Pro users. Moreover, cross-platform DAW projects using Syntropy can also be transferred between the two platforms, provided the host supports cross-platform project exchange, while preserving the loaded preset and Syntropy settings.
